Square Dance – Spaß im Team. 

Die acht Tänzer:innen in einem Square tanzen gemeinsam nach den Anweisungen („calls“) des Callers („Tanzleiter:in“).

Die Tänzer:innen bewegen sich im Takt der Musik und kombinieren die  verschiedenen Schritte und Bewegungen um komplexe Formationen zu bilden. Da der Caller die Calls passend zur Musik ansagt, müssen sich die Tänzer:innen keine komplexen Choreografien merken, sondern nur die einzelnen Figuren. Diese gehen fließend ineinander über und die Tänzer:innen wechseln dabei ständig ihre Positionen und Tanzpartner:innen.

Zusammenfassend ist Square Dance eine unterhaltsame, soziale und interaktive Art des Tanzens, die man unbedingt einmal ausprobiert haben sollte.

Keine.

Mitzubringen:

Lust am Tanzen und ein bisschen Offenheit für Neues sind hilfreich, bequeme Schuhe.

Besonderheiten:

Anmeldung als Paar ist nicht erforderlich – alle können mit allen tanzen. Wir legen den Fokus auf die Freude am Tanzen. Auch das soziale Miteinander kommt nicht zur kurz.

 

 

Square dance - fun in a team.

The eight dancers in a square dance together according to the instructions ("calls") of the caller ("dance leader").

The dancers move in time to the music and combine the different steps and movements to form complex formations. Since the caller announces the calls according to the music, the dancers do not have to remember complex choreographies, but only the individual figures. These flow smoothly into each other and the dancers constantly change their positions and dance partners.

In summary, square dancing is an entertaining, social and interactive form of dance that you should definitely try.

None.

What to bring:

 A desire to dance and a bit of openness to new things are helpful, comfortable shoes.

Special notes:

 Registration as a couple is not necessary - everyone can dance with everyone. We focus on the joy of dancing. Social interaction is not neglected either.
