University Sports Center Presentation Event (UPE for short)

Then the University Sports Centre Presentation Event (UPE for short) is just the right event for you.
What will actually happen on 24.09.25?
Name of the event: University Sports Centre Presentation Event (UPE for short)
Presentation event for international students shortly before the start of the semester. We will then go on a tour of our sports centre with a guide. Last but not least, participants can take part in a university sports course and do a trial training session. When registering, please make sure that you sign up for the correct activity (e.g. if you would like to play football after the presentation and tour, please register for the football activity below. If you are not interested in a trial training session, please register for ?ohne Sportaktivität?).
What exactly does the programme look like?
4:00 p.m. Meeting point in front of the university stadium (Lichtwiesenweg 3, 64287 Darmstadt)
4:15 p.m. Presentation in the seminar room of the university stadium with introduction of USZ, sports department, SGM, Unifit and unigym (30-minute presentation & image clip)
4:45 p.m. Tour of the campus
From 5:30 p.m., join in and try out the courses (taster session in one of the following sports: 5:30 p.m. dodgeball on the multi-purpose court, 5:45 p.m. jazz dance, 6:00 p.m. footmesa ? foot volleyball, 6:00 p.m. football, 6:00 p.m. Thai boxing, 6:30 p.m. basketball, 6:30 p.m. hurling on the side field, 6:30 p.m. beach handball)
7:00 - 8:00 p.m. End of the courses
Who can take part?
All international students of TU Darmstadt who want to get to know our Unisport Centre (USZ) including the cooperating departments such as the Sports Department, SGM, Unifit or Unigym as part of this orientation event.
Where does the event take place?
The event will take place in the TU Darmstadt stadium. The meeting point is at 16:00 at the entrance to the university stadium (Lichtwiesenweg 3, 64287 Darmstadt)
